ATTENTION
BALD KNOB NORTH WATER CUSTOMERS 08/21/2023
While our rates have remained constant since 2012, Searcy Water, the
supplier for our region, has implemented several increases over the years. The
only modification occurred for BKN Water in 2020 is when the billing structure
shifted from being based on a per 1000 units to per gallon basis. To address
the impact of inflation and ensure the ongoing maintenance of the system, we
are planning to raise the water rates in the upcoming years. We regret any
inconvenience this might cause. Once the board meeting concludes, we will
publish the updated rates at our office, in the newspaper, and on Facebook.
Additionally, have received an ANRC Loan from the state to facilitate improvements and
expansions within our system over the next few years. These monies are only for theses projects only.
Furthermore, due to
modifications by the USPS, adjustments will be implemented in the appearance of
the water bills. Going forward, the water bills will shift from perforated post
cards to standard post cards.
We are also optimistic
about the potential upgrades in our office in the foreseeable future. This
advancement would enable us to enhance billing processes and provide more
convenient online payment options.
